Finance Systems Professional

I am a Finance Systems Accountant and Oracle Functional Specialist with broad experience in a variety of roles in the Higher Education sector. Currently the Functional Lead on a large Oracle EBS R12.2 upgrade programme and leading the Finance Systems team. I'm highly skilled in Oracle EBS Financials and CRM, with additional experience in smaller ERP offerings.

I've had a varied career - studying Engineering, training with the RAF, working in the Leisure Industry, and finally crossing into the Finance sector in 2016. At the latest count I have worked with nearly 200 software packages, from the titans eg. Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. down to niche providers such as Kinetic, XN Leisure, TLMS, Corporate Planner.

I've created this website as a bit of a challenge for myself - I learnt HTML as a teen but the web has evolved so much since then, I felt it was time to bring myself up to speed. I've been writing the HTML, CSS and Javascript myself, learning through coding sites and ChatGPT. The aim is to develop further into Python and APEX appplications, refresh skills that I can bring into my professional life.
